On a lakefront lot the fence has a hard job: keep the yard enclosed without blocking the best thing about it. Black aluminum does that. Here it wraps a Chapin home and runs along the water side of the lawn, with the lake, a sailboat and the neighbors' docks all in plain view through the pickets.
Aluminum is a good match for a yard this close to water. It does not rust, there is nothing to scrape or repaint, and rain and sprinkler spray do not hurt it. The ground here falls away toward the lake, and rake bottom panels follow a gentle slope, while steeper ground gets planned in person before we quote it.
